Atmosphere
The place has more of a Morrocan feel to it, owing to the Morrocan-Spanish theme of the place. Various pottery items with hand-painted Islamic motives randomly arranged on display cabinets create a home-y feel to the ambience, with simple furniture and a large couch near the entrance. These are plus points the place scored with me.
On the downside, the simplicity of the place somehow suggests a lack of effort invested into the decor of the restaurant. Lighting was a bit too dim for my liking (i'd like to see clearly what i'm eating!)

Food
The menu offers a good range of selections. I felt like ordering all the entrees, but settled with garlic mushrooms (garlic and herbs stuffed mushrooms, lots of olive oil, packed full of Mediterranean flavours).
For mains, there's a small selection of paellas, tagines, and a few other more European-influenced dishes. The tagines looked really good, but i decided that it's impossible to not order a paella in "La Paella". The chicken and seafood paella ($22.50 per person, with a minimum of 2 persons' order) was short of my expectations, since it lacked the caramelized taste of burnt rice i like in my paellas. The tomato-based stock it was cooked in was a little too heavy-bodied as well. However the generosity of the chef with the seafood ingredients is a plus point, and in turn elevated the flavour of the dish significantly.
I assume the desserts menu wasn't very attractive, as I do not remember anything about it.

Service
Excellent service by the only waiter on duty that night. There were only 2 other tables occupied, not too sure how he would've handled a few more diners at the same time. Nonetheless friendly and attentive.
Speedy service of food, other than the paella which took 45 minutes (reasonable, as they do take a long time to cook).
The entree was recommended by the waiter. He seems like he knows the menu really well (fair enough it's not a big menu). Very happy with his service overall.
